NO MORE TOBACCO USE IN KENYA

I love Kenya. It never ceases to amaze me.
Smoking cigarettes is now an offense in Kenya just as smoking Ganja is.As i was cycling to work in the morning , i made a point to pass by the police station just to see how well this new law has been implemented. To my surprise the policemen were busy sucking their "cig sticks" as if oblivious with what was happening in the country.I also visited my friend Freddy who owns a small but well stocked duka and as you have guessed i was able to purchase two sticks of my favourite brand "sportsman'. Manze Gova ya Kenya haina capacity ya ku implement hizi law mpya wana jiwekelea.

Peace

Smoking ban was lifted by the deputy prime minister Hon. Musalia Mudavadi
who is also incharge of the local government.Hon. Musalia cited a loophole in the anti smoking law that was formulated by the then Minister for Health Hon. Charity Ngilu.

This is enough prove to show that policy in Kenya is formulated by the roadside and more often than not is a result of political decree.
